Denver Nuggets won Miami Heat in NBA final with result 94:89. Result in final series was 4:1 from club from Colorado. The best player and MVP is of course Nikola Jokic basketball player from Sombor - Serbia. No one ever scored more points, made more assists or grabbed more rebounds in NBA play off.

Game was in 2:30 AM Central European Time, I didn't setup alarm on clock to wake me up. I woke up naturally near the end of first half, checked time and thought "Let's see what is Nikola doing! Result was on Miami side. Away club lead 7 points or something like that and Denver players missed some open shots for 3...

However they woke up when it was the most important in second half, started to hit some important 3 pointers, played superb defense in which Miami took rebound after missed attempt only 2 or 3 times in entire half! Nikola Jokic was on his MVP level just like Jamal Murray.

We saw late drama near the end where referees gave Miami foul and 3 free throws despite home player didn't touch shooter who hit him by leg on shot attempt. Coach asked for challenge and three referees didn't change the decision and Denver lead fell from 5 to 2 points. Nuggets players made mistake in next attack, it looked like they were nervous, but superb defense and couple of good rebounds after Miami missed shots saved them. They ran on 3 points lead 24 seconds until the end, soon after on 5 and that was it! Big celebration could start! I expect big winning celebration today!

There are some interesting facts about Serbians in USA. Those who went from what was then Austria-Hungary Empire to USA back in 1883 had Colorado like one of main destinations. 140 years after there is Serbian again who brought NBA trophy first time in Denver.

I saved for the end words of wisdom from Nikola Jokic who answered like this on question about his personal records: "I am not playing for myself, I am playing for player and team mate near me!" That's key to be a team. The best center in NBA congratulated to every last player in Denver while fans chanted title of this article. :) LoL
